This layout is awesome. I personally prefer thesetypes of layouts, and I love your use of the patterend background. You managed to incorporate a good number of photos and still have room for embellishment without it becoming crowded. You're my idol.
I the Louisiana Mall the one off I-10? I think it may be Blue Bommet Drive? There's a restautant that plays zydeco across the street. If so, I've actualy been to that mall. If not, I'm crazy and need to go to sleep.
Anyway, good job.
Thanks ladies. Ya'll are so sweet!
Jeanne, you really HAVE to get these templates! LOL I use 4x6 photos. I really like the size. So, all of the photos are from that size. I just prefer that to the 3x5, especailly for close ups.
Susan
I'm back, yet again to gaze. Trying to scraplift without having access to the templates. Guess I need to add them to my list of must have stuff. Do you get your photos developed in the 4x6 size or the 3x5 size? I'm seriously considering going back to 3x5 so I can more easily fit more photos onto a layout.
Jeanne
Great job! I got my templates last week and I love them already. It's so good to see how people have used them and your layout is inspirational. Can't wait to do more.
Susan your layout is wonderful! I can't wait to get those templates - they keep everything balanced on the pages without it being overwhelming :). Keep up the good work!
Sorry, Aimee. I misunderstood. These are the Deluxe Cut Color Block Templates. You can get them right here at the www.scrapbook.com store. They are wonderful and so much fun to use!
Susan, this is a great layout! The striped background and the green go together perfectly. And you've used my fave Jolee stickers! :) (I bought those last year, but they're too lovely so I haven't used them yet...)
What a great LO, Susan! Now I HAVE to have those templates, didn't think it would be something I would use, but yours come out great. Thanks so much for sharing!
Aimee,
Thank you. I used 16B and 19B. I really do enjoy these templates.
Jeanne,
WTG girl! Sale is the best way to get things! LOL Clearance always is best!

You inspired me to pick up some of the Picture Pebbles and Eyelet Words at Michael's. Of course it helped that they were on clearence. I came back again to be inspired to use them.
Jeanne
Beautiful layout Susan. I love how the bold background paper is tamed by the colorblocking and doesn't overwhelm the photos. Of course there is that light and globe problem that I have. :teeth:
Jeanne
Susan - I didn't think I needed these templates until I saw what you have done with them!
I like how you have balanced the embellishment squares with the photos - the embellishments don't take away from the photos.
The whole lo is nicely balanced - a great job!
Thanks Myssi. I used 16B and 19B for this one. The 19B is a great one. You can use it as a second page on a two page spread, so you can get lots of photos. Or you can use it as a single if you want one without the little embellishment squares.
LOVE the colors and how they set the mood of the layout! Of course love the embellishments - tastefully done. I remember those choir days . . . :)
I really like this layout. It made me recall my own high school choir years, when Christmas was running from one concert to the next everyday for 3 weeks! Great work!
