-Background is made of washi tape.
-Collage using a taping technique where you use invisible tape(ex: Scotch Magic Tape) on magazines to rip off the ink on the page. It doesn't always work the way you think it will, and it definitely takes some practice to get right. Doesn't work on super glossy pages. It is really fun to play with. Sometimes you end up accidentally ripping the entire page out, and other times it will rip off the perfect amount of ink from the page. This technique works on newspapers, books, and I'd imagine any other ink on paper.
Warning: You may shout/squeal/grunt/make-other-strange-noises out of excitement when you rip off a really nice strip of tape.
-This collage was taped on a piece of mat board, cut out and placed on the washi tape background. Gave it a nice 3D look.
-Please excuse the messy, confused look of this page. It was my first time using the tape technique.
