For my nephew's birthday he got a skateboard (and all the appropirate safety stuff). His big sister has always struggled with her feeling of entitlement and "me/mine," so she also got her birthday present the same day (a month early). I am not worried, however, because I feel almost certain that she will have pleanty more presents to open up an her actual birthday.
I enjoyed making this layout because I love the pictures of the kids and all the bright colors. Not to mention if you look really closely Gavin actually has his pinkie fingers up his nose. He is 6 and I think he thought he was getting away with something sneaky...it kinda cracks me up. He is such a sweet boy and that is about as defiant as he can be...I have to admit I am suprised how different he is than his sister. I am greatful that he is such a sweet boy and to have him in my life. He is an example for all of us to follow.
