Created for one of the June topics (What do you get out of scrapbooking?) and also for the Three Product/Technique Challenge (must use ink, chipboard and stitching). This was my first attempt at stitching so please be kind. I used machine stitching and hand stitching. The monogram "C" was created for me by scrapbfly in the Bag O'Monograms swap. I just attached it to the cardstock by handstitching it, then mounted it on the double cardstock mat and attached the chipboard circle.

Journaling:
I’ve been scrapbooking for more than 12 years. For me isn’t just a hobby. Scrapbooking is a way for me to express my creativity, as well as the love I have for the subjects I scrap. I totally lose myself in creating whatever layout or project I’m working on. When I complete a layout I feel a great sense of accomplishment and pride. I feel as though I am giving my family a gift. The layouts I create about their triumphs, adventures and even their difficult times are tangible evidence of my love for them. Sometimes I can say in a scrapbook page what I can’t say out loud. Every layout I create is made with a lot of thought and a great amount of love. Although I am not a fan of cleaning up the indescribable mess I make when I scrap, I am willing to do it in order to experience the emotions I feel and the memories I recall when I am creating. I can’t think of any reason why I would give up scrapbooking. It is a very big part of my life.
