June 2006: Even with your cool new 'polywog', floaty swimsuit, you were terrified of getting into the swimming pool. After at least half an hour of pleading with you, we finally gave up and just threw you into the pool. You screamed and begged to go back to the ladder, so I convinced you to just swim to me first. I took one step back with each stroke you did until you had made it all the way back to the ladder... alone.
