Oreck speaks to students by Sam Varian, Senior Staff Writer, October 20, 2003
When David Oreck, the chairman of the Oreck Corporation, spoke at Concord College last Wednesday, he claimed strategies to build a brand name could be summarized in the lyrics of "As Time Goes By," a song from the classic movie Casablanca.
A kiss is still a kiss, A sigh is just a sigh, The fundamental things apply, As time goes by.
Oreck's last advice can be applied to anyone, in any field, trying to accomplish anything; "Have an incredible work ethic; nothing replaces hard work."
Quote: The Privilege of a lifetime is being who you are. Joseph Campbell
