For some reason, I am not able to label the products used in the proper areas. I apologize. Scrapbook.com was not much help either.
My layout today has a precious vintage portrait of a little girl and her kitten. I really loved it not only because of the obvious: “iluvcats”, but also I loved the angle that the photo was taken. I converted it to sepia color and also added an oval vignette. I love the colors of the papers I chose in the Maja Design Spring and Summer Basics collections - mauve, pinks, browns, greens. I had fun trying new techniques and making some of the embellishments myself. On the Maja Design page ‘1st of May' are printed words “Memento vivere”, which I cut from the strip and placed under the photo. If I got the right translation, I believe this means ‘live in the moment'….kind of fits this photo! Bet that kitten didn't stay still for very long! LOL Regardless, I like the way the words looked.
