We use big thick crayons/markers to let the ground crew and the ropers know what has all been done to the calf. The purple mark on the face was for the oral meds (to get rid of worms and parasites), the yellow on the neck was for the vaccination, and the yellow stipe down the back was so that the ropers knew this calf was done.
