Jumbo paperclip: Used to hang title from
playing cards: One used baseball side to show Nana's love of the L.A. Dodgers and second was a "Jack". I used a White-Out runner to cover all but the word Jack and transformed it into a Jack In The Box "Jack" as Nana really loved that restaurant.
bottlecaps: used them as plates to show how Nana passed on her love of cooking and took it a step further by matching the subject of the picture above, in which Nana and Tia Bea were making tacos. I used all scraps in placing the ingredients that are on the plates (lettuce, tomatoes, cheese) and some brown paint (beans)=tacos.
tags: Inked in Nana's favorite color: blue and stamped her name as title.
mini brads: Used as center of flowers
x 4 transparency (you do not have to use entire piece): Used to protect an old photo of Nana in her rose garden and make a pocket for journaling block.
feet of string (must use some): Used to attach the tags to paperclip
inch square of fabric (must use some): Sewed one side to illustrate Nana's teaching us to sew and used as photo mat.
blooms: Used as flowers to show Nana's love of gardening.
staples (I have included extra. You do not have to use 10 but you must use some staples somewhere on your page.): Used to make + and = signs for taco equation.
mini pearls (must use 11. I have included extra in case some got lost): Used to make centers on some of the flowers and also to decorate the title.
inches of ribbon: Used as accent down length of page.

This page is about all the wonderful gifts my Nana has passed down to me. I love all these same things and will always remember that she's the reason why. All the colors of cardstock that were used were scraps and the only thing I did beyond that was print out Dodgers and cut it out of cardstock.
