I have to say that I absolutely LOVE this photo. It is so real & I couldn't wait to use it, especially since I don't do blue too often!

Journaling reads:
I startled you, hence the one lonely tear drop. I was doing laundry while you were happily working on your art less than five feet away. I peeked out to view your latest creation and was shocked. You looked up, proud as a peacock, and smiled. I hollered “KATY, NO!!” You froze, the smile instantly changed to a quivering lower lip all while I framed my shot with the camera. I took the picture before you could spin completely out of my view; you were so sad and ashamed. I should have quit after that picture. As I hustled you up the stairs, I tried to take more photos. You continued to hide your face from me. Your chin was tucked into your chest until the last little bit of marker joined your blue bath water. I hope I didn’t harm your artistic freedom and desire to create things of beauty by over-reacting. But, sweetie, I honestly wasn’t prepared for this. I think back on this moment and it makes me sad. I never wanted to shame you, I just don’t ever want to see you blue in any sense of the word.
