B'shert is a Yiddish word. Like many Yiddish words, it is difficult to translate into English. Roughly, it means soulmate or meant to be. It can have different meanings depending on the context. I remember my dh talking about fate years before we were married. I remember wanting to hear him say that sort of thing yet being in awe of the power of the words and somewhat fearful. This layout covers all that and more in the journalling inside the mini book (at least I hope it does). It was so hard to let this layout go! As I am loading this, I noticed that I did not manage to save the whole mini book, just about 1/3 of it. I tell you, my scanner and my computer just hate me! LOL!…. uck.. I just looked at this again. I guess it was too lumpty to scan even half way decently. Maybe I'd better just describe it. LOL! The background patterned cardstock from Crafter's Workshop is a deep red with a gold pattern. The frame and the hanging double heart are all covered with gold microbeads. The rest of the mini book contain photos and journalling that take us from college (the first picture) to our wedding (journalling talks about somethings relevant to fate and soulmates that the rabbi talked about at our wedding) and then our family life. Well, maybe I'll get this one back some day and I can scan it again. :)
