This is Ruby Sky playing her own version of peek-a-boo…. she covers her eyes, says “where am i?” and then peeks out and says “here I am!”. I used Glitter Girl's adventure #85 for inspiration for this layout. I used an image I pinned because I liked the combination of the black/charkboard look wonky hand lettering and the bright bold florals.Inspiration image was from here:http://www.poppytalk.com/2013/07/best-of-diys-paper-cut-inspired-wall.html [poppytalk.com]I made my own wonky chalkboard lettering by handcutting letters out of black cardstock and then dry brushing with a bit of gesso. I used my new favourite Jenni Bowlin Studio floral stamp to create my own floral paper, using gold embossing powder, gesso, white acrylic paint, and misting ink. I liked the style of flowers in the inspiration image, but rather than use them directly I took inspiration from their size and placement and covered chipboard speech bubbles with floral patterned paper.
