I cut apart a sheet of Studio Calico Abroad collection paper to use the polaroid-like pieces as embellishments under the title and in a few other spots clustered on the page. The combination of photo theme & travel/maps was perfect for this page of photos taken from the top of a ferris wheel in Plymouth, England on a recent vacation. Also inspired by Shimelle's NSD Challenges to use the power of 3 (the different clusters), stretch your stash, & scrap a 2 page LO. (www.shimelle.com). The stash-stretching came from using my hexagon mask for additional embellishment besides misting, as well as using lots of rubons from an old sheet of Stampin' Up! rubons I've had for 5+ years - I picked one little rubon to fill in some trapped white space between the two halves of the page, and realized I could use up a lot more of the sheet if I sprinkled some word phrases and other linear elements across the page.Right hand page is based on a sketch from Big Picture Classes.
