REally cool lo! I love the black and white, and the photo effect is so neat. I have to agree with you to about my favorite invention. So many websites, so little time! he he.
What an awesome idea for a page! Great way to preserve history! Funny I've made my pictures look like this too and I immediately change it to something else. It fits for this LO but I agree it looks so funky it's hard to get use to.
Great LO, Joan, and now you're one ahead of the rest of us since this is a topic I have on my list to cover in the Challenge. :) I really like the high-tech look of the photo - it's perfect for this LO.
Joan, this is awesome. I love my photo editing program and making odd photos. I did the "Neon Glow" effect on a picture of my daughters for the scrapbook that I made them last Christmas. I thinks its in my gallery.
I did this page for my Book of Me...I wrote about what invention in my lifetime was most important to me... The journaling reads: I believe that the most amazing invention in my lifetime has been the personal computer and the Internet. Got my 1st computer & was online back in 1997...and my life has never been the same. I can find old friends, make new friends, plan trips, email my family and old classmates. I can stay in touch with my son while he's halfway around the world on a Navy ship...and even find websites for people who love scrapbooking like I do! The Internet has brought a World of Possibilities right to my HOME!!!
This is a self portrait of me while I am sitting at my computer looking at my favorite website...Scrapbook.com. It was taken with my digital camera...and then I used my Photoshop to give it this funky look....just go to the FILTERS..I think its under stylize and I used the glowing edges....Its a fun look...and I did a little doodling with my white gel pen....
