My First altered CD, for xmas gift

Finally! I'm gonna be draggin' “tomorrow”. It's 6am! ok. I used images donated to the gallery by another Pea, used my xyron 900 to glue everything but the snowman button (used glue dots for that). Tried using red Raffia to make a bow to hang it, but it wasn't strong enuff and it ripped in two. So I used silver Dream String. The xmas tree tag on the back is where I wrote a little note. Collaged pics of ds w/his speech teacher on the back, ran them thru the xyron. I think I might go over those pics on the back w/Mod Podge to seal it, ya think? The “believe” word is from sets of “Charming Embellishments” by Darice. It might seem weird, but the little bag has a dinosaur on it cuz dinos are ds's favorite thing in the world. Inside the bag is a little tag that says “have a merry christmas and a ROARRRING new year.” aren't I clever? <rolling eyes> :-p I hope this gets easier as ya go along cuz I'd like to make 3 more of these things for friends. Oh! And drilling was no problem at all. That was the first thing I did. I just used an old spare piece of wood that I have laying around, used a drill bit and voila! I didnt melt the cd w/a heat gun or anything. No cracks!
