I'm so proud of this LO of my little brother, everything I used was c-h-e-a-p, but it didn't turn out looking like a train wreck :D (I'm trying to use up my stash)

The photo had been lying around for ages. It was originally a poor quality snapshot from the mid nineties. I scanned it into PS, removed debris, and messed around with the contrast to transform it into something artsy and useable. I made the mistake of printing it on not-so-great quality photo paper ... and then couldn't bring myself to throw it away afterwards!! I had to do something with it ...

TECHNIQUES
I created my own patterned paper by lining up several of the Sasafrass Lass clear stitch stamps on a block, and stamping a repetitive pattern using Versamark ink.

I used a white gel pen to write the title, and added a drop shadow with the Versamark pen. I also drew a "stitch" around the perimeter of the page, and then used the Versamark pen again to create the illusion of a realistic stitch (by adding dots for simulated punched holes)
