This is part of a two page layout for Grandson's memory book… I have not mentioned the journaling anywhere on the page.. I'm thinking I'll keep it that way and let it be discovered (surprise!)sometime in the future. Should I also mention that the perfect inked foot prints are his? Oh what to do, the page is a little busy to add much writing… Inside journaling reads: Northside Hospital Atlanta GA 1:01 in the morning. Saturday Sugust 23 2003 (barely). You are born. Your Dad called us a few minutes later, we can hear you crying. A hearty healthy sound which is music to your Granny and Grandpop so far away in California. We are told you have jet black hair (lots of it) and long fingers and toes. You are beautiful and vocal and lucky to have both your Aunties and Nana and Papa right there to welcome you into the world. We held you for the first time two weeks later when we flew to Atlant to see you. You were firmly entrenched into your family unit as if you had always been there. You accepted Granny and Grandpop as a part of that routine. You are not fussy and seem to respond to our voices and touch. It doesn't hurt that you are such a beautiful cubby bear of a baby. You are a part of us now and the love we have for you is immeasurable and enduring. I have a feeling you will find love wherever you go. We welcome you our ‘Baby Robert’ it is going to be a great adventure documenting you development… Granny Thanks for Looking!
