I saw something similar on Two Peas last year so I can't take credit for the idea to use a mini muffin tin for this, but I did have a lot of fun trying this idea out. I bought magnetic sheets at Hobby Lobby and cut them into squares to cover the openings of each hole and then covered each with some Christmas papers by Imaginisce. The numbers are thickers that I simply added to 2 circles I cut with my Creative Memories Circle Cutter.? I used 2 different fonts of thickers. Inside each cup is a mini figure from the nativity. I found these at Hobby Lobby. I had to buy 2 sets to have 24, so there are quite a few sheep and camels?, but I also have some extra figures in case we ever lose one.The boys take turns opening one each day. It has turned out to be a very good way to keep them focused on the true meaning of Christmas during the holiday season :)
