The first of my non-winning Hof layouts! The journaling under the tags reads: (under He gets that from me) When the nurse put Blake into my arms for the first time she said “he looks like his mama”. And she is right. Blake has my long fingers and toes, my blonde hair, my blue eyes, and fair skin. His face looks just like my baby pictures. He even has a double jointed right thumb like me. He is quite and content to sit and watch others, and when he smiles I can’t help but think of photographs of me smiling just that way.(Under He gets that from you): Yet I know that there are things he gets from his Dad too, they just are not as obvious. In time I hope to find that Blake has inherited many of his father’s traits, like his cheerful attitude, thoughtfulness, and devotion. His honesty and his love for learning is something that I want all my children to have, and he could have no better father to learn it from. It is true that when it comes to genetics, Blake and I have a lot in common, however it is my hope that as he grows to become a man, it is his father Blake will most resemble.
