Journaling: My hubby just took this picture of the kids and I. I had to beg him to do it and force the kids to sit for a hundred shots, but here it is! The perfect mother with her seven perfect children…NOT! I am not a perfect mother and my children are not perfect either! Now, I don't mind it if people think I have it all together, but the truth is quite the opposite. As a large, home-schooling family our house is quite the zoo most of the day. Laundry and dishes never seem to end; there are always books to correct, teeth to brush, sheets to wash, floors to mop…. you get the picture! At any given time there could be three different squabbles going on at the same time. With a type A personality this could literally push you over the edge. However, over time, I have learned to relax and have a sense of humor. This wasn't easy for me. Look, God had to give me seven children before I finally learned to giggle over the silly things. No, we are not the picture of perfection. We just take a picture like this every year and send it out to everyone so that they think we are!
