Oh, I have to agree with Mark Twain ... I love watermelon in the summer! Growing up, we always ate it outdoors - great big wedges - no utensils - with juice running down our chins & elbows - 'spitting seed' contests and having fun! Now, I see restaurants serving tiny little slices, eaten with a fork & knife ... and I just grin, knowing what they're missing.
