Spring Theme: Tiptoe Through The Tulips

Gardening is one of my most treasured passions aside from scrapbooking. So it goes without saying that spring is one of my favorite seasons as all of the flowers begin to bloom and grow. I snapped these photos of the tulips in my yard last spring. I just LOVE all of the bright and bold colors. I decided to dig into my stash and use what might be deemed as a “fall” collection for this layout. The Farmhouse collection by Crate had just the right mix of colors to coordinate with the colors in my photos. I used the Hardcover Thickers (one of my favorite Thickers fonts) for a really long title that spread right across my two page layout. I placed the word “through” on top of my main photo. I also payed with the new April Showers stamp set by Ali Edwards for Technique Tuesday. I used one of the smaller phrases as a border around my photos on the left page and added some colorful stamping below my journaling on the right right page. Thanks for looking! :)
