Hi everyone! I hope you are enjoying our Stamping A to Z series here at Two Peas In A Bucket. If you've missed any of the previous letters or projects just visit the Classes & Events link here [twopeasinabucket.com] to get caught up on the projects shared so far. My letter is “P” for “Pebbles” - Pebbles is one of my favorite brands and I am lucky enough to have worked closely with this company for the past several years. They have such bright, fun, and cute designs and their stamps are a great reflection of their style. For my particular project I used stamps and products from the Welcome Christmas collection. It's never too early to get started on those Christmas cards! For my first card I used Versamark ink on kraft cardstock and created my own text background by stamping different stamps repeatedly in a varying pattern. This is such a fun technique and really easy to do. If you wanted you could also add a pop of color by stamping just one of the series in color or all of the stamps in different colors for that matter. On my second card I used the versatile alphabet stamp set from the Welcome Chistmas collection to spell the word “MERRY” which I then cut into a banner shape and adhered to my card front. I used pigment ink to achieve a really rich and saturated color. And finally on my third card I used a stamp marker to color just the word “merry” from one of the stamps and added this to a paper rosette I created with several of the patterned papers from the Welcome Christmas collection. Using stamp markers to color just part of your stamp really stretches your stamp collection and allows you to use what you have in new and unique ways. I hope you enjoyed my projects today and continue to join us as we stamp from A to Z here at Two Peas! Thanks for looking! :)
