On the left side of the layout I cut the background cardstock into two pieces where it would be hidden by the patterned paper. This allowed me to print the poem written by Allison Kimball directly on the background. Then I taped the two pieces back together and then adhered the patterned paper (7 Gypsies). There was a tiny amount of seam where the patterned paper didn't cover, but I wrapped blue tulle around the layout securing it with a silver concho and that covered it. The tags read September 16, 2003 5:55 p.m. and 11 lbs. 4 oz. 23" long. A friend RAKed me with the blue fiber. And I also got the heart clips from a Round Robin swap with the same group.
