This is a layout for a weekly “use your stash” challenge. This week was Shotz. Unfortunately (or I guess maybe fortunately) I only had 1 of these and it was a freebie I received at CKU Indy. I did not like the way the original cutout was (with the image of a black and white racing flag) - it just kept clashing with my photos and other embellishments SO I took out my broad black slick marker and made the whole thing black. It worked! Like usual, the digital photo does not show the cool new embellishments I used on this page – acrylic mosaic tiles and frames from Heidi Grace (a fun find during last Saturday's shopping spree). I used the mini acrylic frames to highlight Becky and Stacy in the CK group photo and the dorm flag in the other photo. The mosaic tiles were used to highlight the title and the other photo. “Journaling” consisted of the Bo Bunny phrase vellum stickers and the tag was out of a collage kit I picked up at Michael's with Doodlebug alpha circle stickers. Also used red magenta weave as a background. Thanks for looking! Have a great day! It is beautiful here in central Ohio today! Fall is in the air!
