I was honored to be asked to be the guest designer for this week's color combo challenge. This week's color palette was perfect for one of the old family photos I scanned on a recent trip to my parents' house. I let the more neutral colors dominate and added in little touches of the muted teal and reddish-orange. Journaling reads: “This is only one of a handful of photos showing my mother with her grandfather. Oscar passed away before she turned one. While my mother has no memories of Oscar, apparently he was quite fond of his little granddaughter and delighted in playing peekaboo with her. Brighton, Massachusetts.” Scenic Route lined and polka dot (reddish-orange) paper, October Afternoon floral paper (muted teal) and “family”ÂÂÂ? stamp, KI Memories lace cardstock, and American Crafts foam Thickers. TFL!
