I'm updating my album with a LO I did this winter. Random's still doing ok except he gets 175 cc's now everyday. <p>Yet another LO about my cat. This one's about our daily life now since he was diagnosed with kidney disease almost 2 years ago. The top photo is a collection of vet bills along with needles and the IV bag we use every day to give him fluids to help him stay hydrated. Giving the fluids (100 CC's) doesn't really bother him or hurt him at all. It hurts me more than him, if you know what I mean. But he's my precious baby and I do anything I can to help him stay in better health. The bottom photo was taken a year ago, but he still looks just as healthy and beautiful when he's resting in the sunshine today.<p>Journaling Reads:'100 cc's. This is now our life. Every day we do 100 cc's without fail. Every day Random needs his pills. Every day Random eats a special diet. Every day Random drinks from his Drinkwell. 17-year old Random is mostly blind, has kidney disease and suffers from kitty strokes. Countless Vet bills, countless money spent. All the heartache and worry and tears. No trips, no overnight stays. We are here for you, Random, every day. No more outdoor roaming for you; your hours are spent sleeping in the sunbeam every day. We lift you onto the bed at night when you need it. Despite this, your life is still good. We give you as much love as a little cat can get every day. Because I know there are not that many ‘every’ days left. (2/07)'<p>All papers and elements by Christine Smith and Jennifer Howland.
