<p />ETA: Sorry, I guess I should have posted the story of these, LOL! These are wedding portraits from the 40's. When people would get married, they would grab whatever friends and service men that were available as groomsmen, since everyone was away at war. Everyone would dress up and sometimes the bride would even borrow a dress from a friend! <p />Photo #1 is my grandmother in a borrowed dress. Her DH is behind her to the left and her father is in the tuxedo to her right. My Grandpa was in the Army, so all the men are in their uniforms. The other girls are bridesmaids who almost look like brides themselves! Photo #2 is my great aunt. She is the one in the middle, with her DH and dad behind her on either side. My grandma is one of her bridesmaids. Great-uncle was a Navy guy, so all the men are in their Navy uniforms!<p />Tranquility kit By Eve Recinella.
