This picture of my mom is not the best. She has on that floppy old hat, she's hot and a little worn out. But when I look at this picture I see a beautiful lady - a strong lady. My mom was diagnosed with MS almost 15 years ago. But it has never stopped her. She has the kind of Ms that is affected by heat and if she is overly tired. When this picture was taken it was in the middle of a 4 mile hike on a hot day - not the best conditions for her. But she never complained - not once. I kept asking her if she was ok - she always said I'm OK!
I felt bad that we had decided to take that hike..But I don't think my mom was - she was jsut happy to hhave her girls and 3 of her grandaughters together enjoying each others company. Even as I saw her MS slowing her down she never once complained....yes my mom is a beautiful lady!
