Meaning to make things easy on myself so I could create a quick layout while DD slept…I grabbed a sketch out of the MCC2, only to realize that I had no idea what colors to use on the layout - and now I'm afraid it's a little too Christmasy. Oh well.Journaling:We walked around Seattle all morning in order to show Alice and Jessica the sites. That’s right, we spent a whole day in Seattle site-seeing and this picture here is the only one I have to show for it. And what does it even have to do with Seattle? Well, after wandering around from Pike’s down to the waterfront, schlepping Georgia in the Björn (which gets heavy after a while!) I requested a lunch break, and since we don’t have Red Robin in Germany, I begged to go there, and not have traditional waterfront fare. My mistake. We arrived & were seated at the coldest, chilliest table in the restaurant and were left to wait. And wait. And wait, with a 9-month old who had not had a nap. We waited over an hour before we were finally served less-than-delicious food. And then Alice, our hero of the hour, demanded to see the manager and gave him a piece of her mind. We walked away with only half a bill, although Alice believed we should have gotten the meal for free! And Georgia? She got a balloon, she ate some bread and she got to do some major people-watching. It never bothered her a bit that the wait was so long!credits:Designer Digitals:safety pinned tag & staples by Katiealtered stars by Jackietracy robinson:papers & superkid charmbtw - the pinned tag on the star is something I saw Kim Haynes do - only hers looked SO REAL, like i could reach out and pluck it off the layout.
