I've always loved stamping, so this month's theme was right up my alley. However, I wanted to try a bit of "digital stamping." I used the stitched rectangle from Card Frames & Sentiments, but I turned it on this side to create a more vertical rectangle. I think it adds just the perfect backdrop to this layout. :)

I also used a font that is slightly stamped-looking. It just adds to the affect. I also used the new digital papers from Marisa's Room (yes, I named the kit after my sister… she's adorable!)

Journaling reads: "I’ve always joked that because I’m the youngest child in my family, that I don’t have as many photos as everyone else. That’s partly true, and that’s why finding old photos is so fun for me.

I’m not sure when this photo was taken, but I love how young Marisa and I look. What do I know for sure about this photo? We’re sitting on the bed in my grandmother’s sewing room, and I absolutely loved the dress I was wearing because it had all different colored hearts on it so I got to go to the front of the room in Primary when we sang the Primary Colors song). I also vaguely remember the dress my mother is wearing. I think she still has it in her closet. ;)
