Journaling:
Who says you can’t go home again? When I was in 7th grade, my principal picked me as the best student to receive a free set of World Books. I was so proud that someone recognized that I was a good student. When I left home after high school, my mom wouldn’t let me take them with me. I still had 3 siblings at home that might need them. I was upset but was forced to leave them. In 2006 my mom sold her house & moved. I helped her clean, sort, pack, & in the process found my World Books. They were dusty, a bit moldy, but a sight for sore eyes. I brought them home & gave them a proud place on the bookshelves in my living room, & within 5 minutes Summer had opened one & was reading it intently. Those books have come full circle, & that’s so special to me. Yep, you can go home again. 2/06
