When Izzy was in second grade, her teacher gave her the assignment of creating a “flat” version of herself (i.e. paper doll), and then mailing it to someone who would dress the doll in local attire. They would then take the doll around their town/area and take pictures and write about the doll's travels. This idea is based around the “Flat Stanley” series of children's books. We were fortunate that dh's parents, who live in Georgia, were willing to help us out and take “Flat Izzy” around their town. They really bent over backwards for us, and took over 80 snapshots…wow! All kit supplies by Jen Martakis, specifically her Toolbox kits: By the Numbers, Fancy Mats, and Fancy Frames. Papers and some embellishments from her Blossom kit, and stitching is from the Children's Hospital kit. Fonts are Comfortaa And Modern Black.
