This layout is about my oldest daughter, Alyssa. When she was in the 8th Grade, they had to keep a list of all the books that they read in the school year. She's a huge reader, and ended up reading 57 books in 10 months. Huge books, too, like the Twilight series. I always said her list would make for a fun layout. And this sketch gave me the perfect chance to do just that.I decided to flip the sketch upside down to start. I also changed my title block to the opposite side of the page. Since I had a huge list of books to type up, I swapped the journaling spot and the photo spot. This allowed me lots of room to journal, and still include a photo to illustrate her love of books. For the fun grid of circles, I decided to cut out a circle grid from pattern paper, using my Silhouette. I had lots of fun digging through my stash of embellishments, to find things to stick in each circle. Thanks Jennifer, and 2Peas, for inviting me to play along with this sketch!
