The weekend before Christmas I decided that instead of buying my daughter a new cookbook I would put one together for her. Didn't get a whole lot of recipes pages made but here is the result so far. Notes on each layout: 1) Copied some sheet music to use as my background paper 2) 2Peas free paper piecing from last winter, template lettering, and Hallmark background paper 3) Recipe title printed using my CK lettering combo 4) Template lettering and another 2Peas paper piecing pattern 5) Gotta love those 2 Peas paper piecing patterns! 6) BH inspired color blocking; printed the recipe on vellum 7) Got the idea for the tags from Melissa Caligiuri's layout of the week in the garden back in December 8) Very simple layout reflecting the name and story behind one of our family's favorite recipes. Hope you enjoy these as much as I enjoyed working on them.
