I've been doing so many fall lo's lately that I almost forgot that I signed up for this challenge & it's due today, so I've been working on this lo literally all afternoon. I really like the way it turned out. This is a picture that my 13 yo daughter painted at an oil painting class & I just love it! It's the first time she's ever done any type of painting before…..usually, she just draws with pencils. Hidden journaling reads: One day, while ‘dragging’ Cassie into JoAnns with me, she sawthis beautiful painting titled CrystalMagic & wanted to buy it. It wasn't for sale as it was being displayed for an upcoming oil painting class. I asked her if she wanted to sign up for the class & she said that she would never be able to paint that good. But I knewbetter! I knew she was a very talented artist & could do this. After finally convincing her to sign up for the class, I droppedher off on a Saturday morning atJoAnns. When I came back to pick her up 3 hours later, I wascompletely stunned at how well she did! She originally wanted to hang the painting in her room, but I convinced her to let me hang it inmy favorite room of the house…..myscrapbook room. This way, I get tolook at this beautiful picture everyday!" I used my new Girls Are Weird Sizzlits for the title, Bazzill cardstock, a snow paper that I tore the edges of, vellum, splatter mesh, fiber, MM charms, brads & eyelets. Special thanks to LadyStars for doing this great challenge :)
