Hello Peas,it is already November and soon the christmas season starts - I honestly can´t wait!My December is always super busy, therefore I created a few blanc mini albums that I can fill during December - very relaxing! The album I created for Two Pea's November inspiration theme “holiday albums” is an album for christmas eve only. In Germany we celebrate christmas eve on December 24.The album size is 4.5 x 4.5“ - I cut two cardboards to 4.5 x 4.5” and glued a piece of patterned paper (Crate Paper, Bundle Up 6 x 6“ Paper Pad)on top. I bent the edges of the paper over and glue the overlapping paper onto the backside of the cardboard. I used the same patterned papers for the outside and inside of the cardboard. Then I cut a few patterned papers (Crate Paper, Bundle Up) and a piece of vellum (American Crafts) into stripes - 4 1/4 x 8.5” and folded them in the middle. I used my sewing machine to bind the papers, so I had two inlets - one for the right side, the other one for the left side of the album. Before attaching them on the inside, I cut another piece of vellum and glue it on the two cardboard pieces to create the spine of the album. Afterwards I added a piece of ribbon (American Crafts, Peppermint Express) and glued patterned paper on the backside of the two cardboards. After that, I attached the two inlets. Then I decorated the inside and outside with supplies from Crate Paper (Bundled Up) and American Crafts (Peppermint Express). I want the inside to be simple, the photos will be the main focus later. I am planning to add my journaling right onto the photos, with a white photo marker.Hope you'll enjoy the Garden Girls album inspiration - have a great day!Janna
