Hi Peas! Welcome to another video of the weekly IN THE MOOD TO SCRAP series! It's a cool idea where a garden girl creates a mood-board and based on it, creates a scrapbook page. I am going to show (and explain) to you how this layout, which is based on a Pinterest moodboard, came together! You'll find a new lesson in this series in the Videos section of Two Peas each Tuesday. This project was inspired by chalkboard and heart images I found on Pinterest [pinterest.com]. Fall is my favorite time of the year as it is still warm and everything is golden - I added the hearts to underline my love for this season. The colors of the page fit the ones on the photo - instead of adding a lot of brown items, I used golden embellishments. The color scheme does not include traditional fall colors, it is rather a color scheme I'd call ‘classic’, it fits nearly any occasion. Here´s a bit about the products I chose:I used sprays by Heidi Swapp and October Afternoon to create the splatters on the white cardstock (American Crafts). The white hearts were created with modelling paste and a 12x12" stencil by Heidi Swapp. The papers are from Crate Paper´s Close Knit and Maggie Holmes Flea Market Collection. The October printables I used are from Bananafish Studio.I used a sewing machine to add stitched details and created similiar edges on the top left and bottom right of the page, but working with black journaling on one and white journaling on the other part. My challenge this week: Create a fall related scrapbooking page - use either the color scheme of the moodboard or add chalkboard and heart embellishments to the page - or all of it :)Every month we will draw a winner from all the MOOD TO SCRAP entries and reward them with a $10 gc.
