Milestones.. I think, each of us considers something else a milestone.. an achievement, something that made us stronger or has been a very important period and/or turning point in our lives. For me, finishing my bachelor thesis and therefore my studies has been a huge milestone. It marks the end of an era that effected my life - past, present and future - in many ways. The letter on the photo is the official confirmation that I passed the exam - just a piece of paper, but with great effect.Although I see the end of my studies with mixed feelings, I decided to create a happy and cheerful page… and to incorporate another banner *laughs* I guess, I got hooked after taping this video [twopeasinabucket.com].I mounted white Bazzill cardstock on a pink patterned paper by Dear Lizzy. Then I created the middle part, using small pieces of paper + scraps (Dear Lizzy, Maggie Holmes, Crate Paper), washi tape (Crate Paper), vellum (American Crafts) and embellishments (Smash from K&Company, Maggie Holmes, Crate Paper, Dear Lizzy). Then I added the banner in which I incorporated the title “done”. I love the lace alpha stickers by Crate Paper, but they are quite massive when they are arranged next to each other - therefore I incorporated them in the banner, leaving space between the letters that I filled with banners, circles and cardstock stickers (Dear Lizzy, Studio Calico, Crate Paper, Basic Grey). In the end I attached a subtitle (milestone) above the photo and handwritten journaling above and below the photo. Last but not least I added a few splatters (October Afternoon) ;-)
