Well, this is actually a 2-part challenge–the Effer Dare and a challenge I made with my mom and sister to use a page in the Pottery Barn catalogue as inspiration. I will post part 1 of this after I meet with my mom and sister to show our pages to each other (this goes with that first page). This is a picture I love of me and my sister (aka Dawnypea).

I made the paper with the script using AL Constitution and a quote that says “The best part about having a sister is that I always had a friend.” Floral and striped paper are new Wild Asparagus the paper that I thought looks like a tapestry ribbon is by 7 Gypsies, as are the photo turns. Photo corner by Architexture. The “D” is a Flavia sticker. Cut out the flowers from the WA paper and put one on a pop-dot.

Journaling, in Hootie, says:

Dawn and I couldn't have been more different growing up. In fact, we were dubbed “The Odd Couple” by our family. Where I was “Miss Neat of the Week,” Dawn was, shall we say, a slob. Where Dawn was outgoing, I was withdrawn and shy in social situations. Dawn had a strength I always admired, whereas I would shed tears if you looked at me cross-eyed (or so my family says). In high school, I was studious, and Dawn was the party girl. I always envied Dawn's self-confidence, as I was painfully insecure, despite outward appearances.
<break>Despite our differences, Dawn has always been there for me. My little sister stood up for me countless times and comforted me through our rough and rocky growing up time.

Now that we're adults, all those differences have faded and, though we're still quite different, we have a loving, comfortable bond. We have some common interests, like reading and scrapbooking. We enjoy chatting and spending time together. And we share a history that has made us the people we are now. My sister and I have a friendship that I cherish.

Thanks for looking!
