Hi Peas! Welcome to another video of the weekly IN THE MOOD TO SCRAP series! It's a cool idea where a garden girl creates a mood-board and based on it, creates a scrapbook page. I am going to show (and explain) to you how this layout, which is based on a Pinterest moodboard, came together! You'll find a new lesson in this series in the Videos section of Two Peas each Tuesday. Here's the link to my pinterest mood-board [pinterest.com].My moodboard is about washi tapes this week: different colors and patterns and ways to incorporate them into your scrapbooking. I am showing you how to create your own washi embellishment with punches and dies (you can handcut them with scissors as well,if you do not have punches or dies). I also incorporated the tags which you can see on the bottom right of the moodboard and - without even intending it - the color scheme of my inspiration board. Here´s a bit about the products I chose: I wanted this page to be light, dreamy and with a touch of shabby - so I used light colors and patterns. The papers are from Teresa Collins (Memories) and Elle´s Studio (You and Me), the tags are from Elle´s Studio (You and Me) as well. The stamps are from Prima Marketing, Amy Tangerine for American Crafts and Elle´s Studio (You and Me), the wood veneer is from Prima Marketing. I used lots of different washi tapes: from Crate Paper (the 12x12" sheet), Prima Marketing, My Mind´s Eye and Freckled Fawn. The thickers are from American Crafts, they shimmer in the sunlight - perfect for a dreamy page. You can find the materials I used in the supply list below. My challenge this week: create a scrapbooking project using washi tapes in any way you like (cut with punches, by hand, dies…). Every month we will draw a winner from all the MOOD TO SCRAP entries and reward them with a $10 gc. It will be announced on the 2peas blog.
