When thinking about summer the first thing that came to mind was Grayson's first year on swim team. What a monumental event!!I had to use one of the new cut files available for July. Nothing says summer like a big sun! I altered this cut file just a tad. I selected part of the text and deleted it out of the image before cutting. Then I cut ‘grayson’ and adhered it on top. I loved the umbrella paper by Crate Paper, but as a whole it was too much color for my layout. So I cut a few of the umbrellas out and made a little design on the page. Just the right amount of color!I wanted to add a little something to the background, without being too overpowering so I chose some enamel dots that matched the background and ‘dripped’ them around the page. A fun touch without taking attention away from my photo or big neat sunshine.
