With our focus on photos this month I wanted to try to use as many as possible. I immediately turned to my Instagram prints. I wanted to cover the page with them…but in doing that I wasn't left with much room to ‘play’. So I decided to make a cover page for the layout. I used a plastic sleeve from a specialty paper packaging. I wrapped the adhesive flap around the side of my page and then filled the inside with embellishments (both inside and on top of it). Once I had the page properly embellished I filled the inside with tinsel. Then I machine stitched the side of the page and packaging so that the tinsel couldn't escape. The plastic sleeve had several ‘breathing holes’ that I covered up with enamel dots so the tinsel couldn't get out. I love how the tinsel floats around in there….it's like a party on a page!
