As I stood at my scrapbook table thinking about what shape I would use for my Shaped Themed layout I glanced down and saw the leftovers from my Valentine Themed layout from last month….Arrows. I had huge arrows on that layout, which left me with huge arrow negatives! To make the arrows really pop off the page I adhered it over patterned papers using pop dots. For a fun extra touch I split the photo over one of the arrows as well.To house the journaling I trimmed the outside edge of a transparency heart by Glitz Design. The whole heart was too much, but the outline was perfect. I used my Silhouette to cut the word ‘pluto’ in a delicate font. For the supporting title words I cut small banners from kraft cardstock to hold the letter stickers. For the arrow accents at the top and bottom of the page I first rolled the Glitz Design arrow stamp roller in aqua and pink inks. Then I cut arrows out of the woodgrain tape. I also inked a wood arrow and attached with the tiny attacher. Then I added a few jewels for good measure! The journaling is on an Elle's Studio die cut with a fun Bella feather behind it.For the glitter I spread some liquid glue around with my finger and then sprinkled the glitter around. This was one of those layouts that came together quickly because I was able to start with the arrow background. The extra little arrow details were icing on the cake!
