“I was so thrilled when one of Katie’s teachers, Miss Cheryl, sent me these adorable pictures of Katie that she had taken at school. It’s easy to feel disconnected to what she does during the day and little things like this bring me closer to what her days are like when she’s away from me. It’s obvious that she loves being there, which I knew she would, but it means even more for me to see the smile on her face. Her teachers all tell us how much of a joy Katie is and I feel so lucky to know that she is being taken care of by such loving, caring people. I can’t believe how fast she’s growing up. The first picture I opened up was the one of her in the sandbox and I almost thought it was some other kid. She looks like a toddler in that pic to me. Before we know it she’ll be walking and talking and moving up to the classroom that her sister is now in. It’s amazing how time flies. Katie’s teachers say that she’s speeding ahead in terms of her physical development and that she reminds them of another little girl they know well.”

Paper is from Melissa Baxter's Preschool Backgrounds and date stamp (soo cute!) is from Designer Digitals.
