An old photo that I've used before. This time, I cropped it to show just little me. I made this for the Life Artist challenge, which was to embrace imperfection and love your old photos. I also made it for the Pub Color (Combo) challenge, which was to use blue, ed, and black. And for the Scrap Your Childhood challenge, the theme was to scrap about a best friend. Journaling reads:

I had a lot of best friends when I was a kid. They were never best friends forever, though, because we always moved. One best friend I can remember was Diane Ryan. I remember she had an enormous Great Dane, and I could ride him like a horse. She had the most beautiful bedroom with a princess bed built into the wall. Curtains shrouded the bed and we would hide in there and play I Dream of Jeannie. We'd play dress-up with her mom's trunkful of fancy dresses, the kind with tulle lining under the skirt, and we'd twirl around and feel so pretty. I remember playing Ouija board in her basement. I remember leaving my favorite sandals at her house and I couldn't go get them when we moved away again.

Materials: Making Memories, Love, Elsie, and Creative Imaginations patterned papers.
