I'm going through a weird linear, no noticeable title phase, I think. It's different, but that's ok. I just love this pic and a title seemed to take away from it. Paper is K&Co. and the green background is actually a textured wine bag I picked up at the dollar store (came with the ribbon). Font is Little Days and journaling reads: “Right around the time Mackenzie turned 6 months old, one of her teachers asked us if it would be ok to let her drink water from a cup after her meals. Not a sippy cup, but a regular cup (that was small enough to fit in her little hands). Since she wasn’t able to hold her own bottle yet, I wasn’t sure how that was going to work, but they insisted that she wanted to drink from a cup like her friends in class, so we agreed. A few days later we decided to try it at home after dinner, and were amazed to see that she took to it like a pro! A few days after that, she was already holding the cup by herself and was so excited to be drinking just like we do. It’s amazing how independent she is at such a young age and how much she picks up from watching us so intently all the time. We just couldn’t be more proud of our big girl, who’s growing up so fast.” (PS - it scanned crooked with that bulky ribbon, it's straight IRL, and the top/bottom were chopped in scan) Thanks so much!
