Farzad and me at my junior prom back in 1981. I can't believe I cut those photos into ovals–thank goodness for clone tools! I have a whole bunch of old prom pages (original, old layout on page 2) so I decided to make a page about a different memory. Journaling reads:

Mom discovered the rose I had left outside on the windowsill and thus found out I was not out with friends but instead that I had a boyfriend. Farzad bought me that first rose at the little flower shop at the top of the hill in Georgetown. After that, it became a tradition that he would buy me a single red rose each time we went to Georgetown. Once the secret was out with Mom, I could proudly place my pretty rose in a vase in my bedroom rather than hide it on the windowsill.

Materials: Foofala and Prima patterned papers. Hambly rub-ons. 7 Gypsies sticker. Making Memories velvet letters. Heidi Swapp rub-on letters. Unknown flower from Scrapologie kit. York Script font. Stitched on my sewing machine. TFL! ~Debbi T
