True Companion (Scrapbooks, Etc. June 04)

This layout is the most special one I think I'll ever make of my husband and I. This song means the world to me. Photos are of us during our first dance as husband and wife. Journaling reads: We’d only been dating for a short while when Tom asked me to listen to this song. He said that it reminded him of me. He started the CD and walked into the other room, and I sat and listened. From the very first verse, I was in awe. I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. At that moment, this song confirmed that he was feeling the exact same way about me as I was about him. It seemed strange to think that I might have found “the one” after such a short time, but it was true. I knew this one the man I wanted to marry. I can count the number of times I’ve actually listened to this song on one hand. Each time I hear it, I become as emotional as the first. Inevitably, it was the first song we danced to as husband and wife. It describes “us” better than anything else I’ve ever heard. I never thought that I would find my true love, or anything close to the sort. In Tom, I have my best friend, my love, my husband, my life mate. He is my one “true companion” and I am the luckiest woman alive because of him.
