This only photo I have of my father. He left my mom when I was a baby. Used some goodies from my March Scrapologie kit. Pull-out journaling reads:

I never knew my real father growing up. He was just a name– Lenny Miller. I had seen this old, dark photo once or twice, and then it seemed to disappear for a long time, making any memory of him fade into the shadowy corners of my brain. For a long time, I fantasized about who he was and that someday he would come dashing in and sweep us away from our evil stepfather. Dawn and I would often look for his name in the phone book, and I think we even called some L. Millers once or twice, but no one on the other side of the phone would admit to being our father. In the 70's we used to tell the other kids that Steve Miller, the famous rocker, was our real father–a perfectly reasonable explanation for why our last name was Miller when our mom's was Gomez.

Materials: Rusty Pickle, Foofala, Prima, and 7 Gypsies patterned papers. Foofala tag. Making Memories velvet letters. 7 Gypsies rub-on flourish. Creative Imaginations (ancient) rub-on letters. Daisy D’s photo corners. Colorbok flowers. Magistical Memories chipboard corner (painted with Making Memories paint). Catslife Press stamp. K&Co. and Pebbles word stickers. Stitched on my sewing machine. TFL! ~Debbi T
